The Genesis of Best-Field Blessings

Best-Field Blessings was born out of love, necessity, and a deep understanding of the challenges parents face in finding quality child care. Our founder, affectionately known as Gramms, began this journey by caring for her two young grandchildren, aged just 1 and 4 weeks. With her daughter returning to work and Gramms herself being a Lead Preschool Teacher at a local daycare center, she stepped in to provide a nurturing environment for her grandchildren during their most formative years.

What was initially meant to be a temporary arrangement until the youngest was ready for daycare, transformed into a calling. Registering with the Department of Social Services as a Relative Care Provider, Gramms’ home became a haven for many children over an 8-year span. Each child, fondly referred to as a “little friend,” was embraced with the same warmth and care as her own family.

Inspiration Behind Best-Field Blessings

The seeds for Best-Field Blessings were sown during Gramms’ own experiences as a stay-at-home mom with three children under the age of three. Her journey in nurturing young minds extended beyond her home, as she ministered to preschool friends in Children’s Church for six years. Having worked in daycare centers and entrusted her own children to daycare homes, Gramms has walked in the shoes of both a caregiver and a concerned parent. This dual perspective endowed her with a wealth of practical knowledge and insights.

However, the true inspiration for Best-Field Blessings came from listening to countless stories of parents. Their narratives, filled with struggles to find a child care facility that genuinely cared for both the child and the parents, resonated deeply with Gramms. She recognized the profound need for a place where children are not just looked after, but where they are cherished, and where parents can find peace of mind knowing their little ones are in the best hands.
